We have several meetings and other activities throughout the month, several are listed below. Check the Twitter feed, Calendar, or Yahoo List for changes, additions, or cancellations.

Meetings

Baronial meetings are held at 7:00pm on the first and third Tuesdays of every month in the Andrea Cracchiolo Library at Cochise College.
Business meeting - 7:00pm The first Tuesday is our business meeting, and is open to all members and visitors. This is a good time to find out what is going on right now and what is coming! Medieval clothing is not required for the business meeting.
Baronial Court and Arts & Sciences - 7:00pm The third Tuesday is our Court and Arts & Sciences night. We hold Court in the library lobby, and then move into a room for the classes. Medieval clothing is requested, but not required. Come and join the fun!

Change in location!!  Through August 2017 we will be meeting in the Horace Steele Room just outside the main entrance to the library (across from the bathrooms)

Arts and Sciences

Scribal group meets the second and fourth Wednesdays at a private home, Sit and Stitch meets most Friday afternoons, and other activities are held intermittently.

Strong Oak Club

Our Barony participates in the Cochise College student organization named The Strong Oak Club. They hold monthly meetings at 7:00pm on the third Tuesday of the month during the winter and spring sessions in Cochise College library building room 900. The club meets in Sierra Vista, but membership is open to all Cochise College students.

Marshal Arts

We have opportunities for you to participate in fighting, sword-play, and shooting arrows.

Archery - 9-11am on Sundays in Whetstone on Arthur Ranch Road. Turn west onto Camino de Mesa from Hwy 90 (right from the north and left from the south), look for the Mr. Rooter sign. turn right onto Arthur Ranch Road off Camino de Mesa. All practices are on private property.

Archery practice is held on Sundays from 9am to 11am, all practices are held on private property. Currently all practices are at Castle d'Aymonet in the Whetstone area, check here for any changes to that.

Heavy Fighting and Rapier - Sundays in Veteran's Memorial Park, 3105 East Fry Boulevard, Sierra Vista, AZ, see Calendar for times. When there are major events in that park, the alternate location is Len Roberts Park, 101 East Theater Drive, Sierra Vista.



Directions to Cochise College:

From the north:
Take exit 302 off I-10 (Hwy 90)
Drive south approximately 25 miles (you will pass through Huachuca City)
You will pass the airport entrance on the right after you pass through Huachuca City
Turn left onto the by-pass at the next traffic light (East Gate of Fort Huachuca is on the right)
Follow the by-pass around to the third traffic light (Campus Drive, WalMart will be up on the right)
Turn left, drive to the stop sign, turn left onto Colombo Ave, and turn right into the Cochise College campus.
The primary library parking lot is the second one on the right; however, you may need to park a little farther away when classes are in session.

Directions to Veteran's Memorial Park:

From the north:
Take exit 302 off I-10 (Hwy 90)
Drive south approximately 27 miles (you will pass through Huachuca City)
You will pass the airport entrance on the right after you pass through Huachuca City
Turn left onto Fry Boulevard at the second traffic light (Main Gate of Fort Huachuca is on the right)
Veteran's Memorial Park will be about x miles east and on the left
Turn left at the light, follow the signs (normally we are to the left after you enter the park.

Directions to Len Roberts Park:

From the north:
Take exit 302 off I-10 (Hwy 90)
Drive south approximately 25 miles (you will pass through Huachuca City)
You will pass the airport entrance on the right after you pass through Huachuca City
Turn left onto the by-pass at the next traffic light (East Gate of Fort Huachuca is on the right)
Turn right at the next traffic light (7th Street)
Go just over a half mile and turn right onto Theater Drive
Len Roberts Park is just under a half mile, on the right

Directions to Lower Garden Canyon:

From the north:
Take exit 302 off I-10 (Hwy 90)
Drive south approximately 27 miles (you will pass through Huachuca City)
You will pass the airport entrance on the right after you pass through Huachuca City
Turn right at the second traffic light to enter Main Gate of Fort Huachuca (Fry Boulevard)
At a minimum, all adults (teenagers included) will need to show photo ID, you may or may not be asked to show registration and proof of insurance
After you pass throught the gate, go straight for x miles until you pass the water tower and the road splits (right lane will be right turn only, left will be straight or left)
Turn left at this intersection and when safe move into the right lane
At the stop sign at the bottom of the hill, go straight (follow the signs for the Aerostat)
Shortly after the modern windmill the road veers hard right, stay on that road for x miles
Lower Garden Canyon will be on the left side
