Wacky, wavy, stabby, and maybe inflatable Weapons!

Greetings unto the Populace of Glorious Atenveldt!
Barmaids will soon be upon us! And with it the Barroom Brawls for Armored Combat and Rapier, and the Barmaids Competition.

Come enjoy the delights of our rough and rowdy barroom – It’s gonna be wild! Bring your Wacky Weapons and have a smashing good time! Join us and show off your skills as a Barmaid in the best little Tavern in the Atenveldt. 

In addition to Archery, Thrown Weapons, and A&S classes, this year Barmaids will host the THIRD ANNUAL Mixologist Competition. Competitors will mix several drinks, putting their own flare on each of them, and try to impress the Judges with their Own Signature Drink.

– No Day Fees – full event only.

– If you plan to pay at Gate be ready with CASH

  • PreReg: $25 – full event
  • Gate Fee: $30 at Gate – full event, BRING CASH

Non-Members (Adults):

  • PreReg: $35 – full event (Pre-Register Online)
  • Gate Fee: $40 at Gate – full event, BRING CASH

REFUNDS
Send requests via email to the local Mons Exchequer, Lady Musa (Exchequer@bmmt.org). Refunds are subject to a $1 non-refundable charge, and after processing will be mailed by check.


Camping & Amenities

TENT CAMPING
You may camp on either or both Friday and Saturday night. ALL camp spaces are required to have a camp fire extinguisher outside their tent. Space will be limited so come early!

ON-SITE LODGINGS

The Monastery has limited rooms available for rent. Contact the monastery on the HTMC Website or at retreats@htmcenter.org.

RVs
RV space is limited at the monastery. RV hookups are available at a fee and must be reserved with the monastery at retreats@htmcenter.org.

OTHER VEHICLES
No wheeled vehicles are permitted to park in the camping area overnight except for vardos. If you have questions or a camp trailer of some sort, contact the Event Stewards!

NEARBY AMENITIES
There are several fast-food eateries and other restaurants within several minutes’ drive in Benson, as well as some hotels.


!! SITE RULES !!

PONDS & CREEKS
Please do NOT dip your feet or toes, nor swim, in the ponds and creeks. Please do not allow your pet to dip or swim into the waters either.

WILDLIFE & WILDLIFE PATHS
HTMC is home to a wide variety of beautiful wildlife from peacocks to ducks and a variety of other birds. Please be respectful of the wildlife! Drive slowly and cautiously at all times while on HTMC grounds. DO NOT FEED THE WILDLIFE ESPECIALLY THE DUCKS AND PEACOCKS. Do not attempt to approach and coax nor scare the wildlife. There are bird walks available, please be respectful of the walks and avoid walking your pets in the same areas (designated by signs).

PECAN GROVE
HTMC has a lovely pecan grove which they collect and sell the pecan nuts in their store. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE FROM THE PECAN GROVE.

PETS
ALL pets must be on leashes when wondering the grounds of the monastery. Pet owners and walkers MUST pick up waste and messes left by their pet! Please be respectful of the monastery grounds and help keep it clean!

MONASTERY VISITORS & RESIDENTS
The monstery grounds are OPEN to visitors througout the day. Some visitors are in face residents at the monastery. Always be respectful and courteous of the residents and their space. Keep noise levels low, and avoid walking through yards and parking spaces belonging to others.

LEAVE THE SITE CLEANER THAN YOU FOUND IT!!
Event goers will pack out ALL TRASH belonging to them. Please do NOT litter while visiting the site (this includes ANY bottles, papers, and cigarettes).


Event Activities

SPECIAL EVENTS
Our theme will be celebrating the Norse Festival of Spring, Disting. Throughout the day we will have “Viking Games” and competitions.

COMBAT
Barroom Brawls for both Armored and Rapier Combat. Get your Wacky Weapons ready so you can use them in the Barrooms!!

The Boar Hunt. It’s back. Come “hunt” the “boar” in armored combat in the woods of Garden Canyon.

The Page Tourney. Rapier will hold their own tournament in the trees of the Garden Canyon, as you gather your forces. 

Archery and Thrown Weapons will have amazing shoots and throws ON SITE!

BARMAIDS COMPETITION
Come prepared to awe the judges with your skills.

MIXOLOGIST COMPETITIOIN
This is the third annual Mixologist Competition—Chumbawamba Edition. Competitors will mix several drinks, putting their own flare on each of them, and try to impress the Judges. Think you can mix a drink well? Do your friends rave about your cocktails? Then you could be the winner of the Mixologist Competition. Competitor spaces are LIMITED; contact the Event Stewards to be included in the competition at TakaEiwa@gmail.com
