The competition for baronial A&S Champion for the Barony March of Mons Tonitrus will be held on July 21st, 2018. It will be at the campus of Cochise College. The address is 901 North Colombo Avenue, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635. Site opens at 9am and will close at 5pm.

For those entering, for champion or no, please bring 3 copies of the appropriate judging sheet from the Kingdom A&S website.

The Barony will be providing sandwich fixings for lunch options for all. There is ample drinking water onsite. We will also provide lemonade and tea. The populace is asked to bring a side dish or dessert to round out the meal.
The Collegium will consist of classes, (you knew that right?) And the list is being compiled and will be published once it is final.

9:00 – Site Opens for Registration and A&S Display Set-up
10:00 – Opening Court to be followed by A&S viewing and judging
10:30 – In the Courtyard – Dyeing instruction available all day
10:30 – 11:30 Early Embroidery and Wire Working classes
11:30 – 1:00 Lunch – Provided by the Populace of Mons Tonitrus
1:00 – 2:00
2:00 – 3:00 Weaving and Wire Pin Making classes
3:00 – Hall will close for final judging
4:00/4:30 – Closing Court
Entrants will set up their displays and will be available to answer judges/populace questions about their work. Entrants will also be given placards for when they wish to go to class or are teaching a class and not with their displays. The non-availability of an entrant will not be held against them in the judging.
After the event, there will be a get-together at Meister Heinrich and Bannthegn Juliana’s home, to which all are welcome. There will be some meat (brats and burgers, and beef or pork from Baron Karl’s smoker) and drinks (soda and water) provided. Please bring whatever you would like to share, and a chair. The grill will be on for additional items should you wish to make use of it.
